Good Shoes and Jackets, Thanks Ruth

The ensemble

Traveling Europe in the winter can be a little chilly. Fortunately we are spending most of our time in the southern part, so the temperature is not too cold. This is not an advertisement, just more for nostalgia later on. We are wearing matching shoes and jackets and I swear that it happened by chance. My little sis works at REI and gets a nice discount, so we jumped at the chance to get some quality stuff. Mountain Hardware Windstopper Jackets and Keen Austin shoes, a really nice travel combo. In the blog when you see this same jacket and shoes combo in most every photo, that is the reason. Also the Keen shoes are nice because they are a hybrid...you can walk or hike in them, and they are waterproof...different from you normal running shoe but lighter than a hiking boot and more stylish!!! ( last part is an inside joke)
